FAQ: What Are the Rules of Bulk Importing?

Posted by Sharp Auction Engine on Aug 17, 2017 3:33:39 PM
To bulk import items into a catalog, you can fill in the information on the spreadsheet that is downloadable on every bulk import page on your SAE site. However, the system will also recognize any Excel-type spreadsheet that matches the following rules, and is imported with the UTF-8 character set.

Create the following columns, and fill in the appropriate answers in each. Each row beneath these columns will be the information for a different lot. The system will match the info in each column to the appropriate field in the SAE environment.

Column A: Lot Number. Type in the lot number you would like to assign to the item. Leave blank if you would like the system to auto assign lot numbers.

FAQ: How Can I View Bidders' Max Bids?

Posted by Sharp Auction Engine on Aug 17, 2017 3:22:07 PM
In order to view the max bids placed by bidders on your auction house, you must first enable the setting in your Auctioneer Dashboard.

1.) Click the Auctioneer Dashboard icon in the top right corner of your screen. From here, click the "Manage My House" button, then navigate to the "Advanced" tab.

2.) Under the "Reveal Max Bids?" prompt, select "Yes."

3.) To review the max bids, there should now be a new column available in the "Bids" tab of your Auctioneer dashboard, which reveals these numbers next to each bid. You can also review max bids on the "Manage Bids" page of any listing or item. These values are only visible to you; other bidders still cannot see anyone else's max bid.

Keep in mind that should you choose to activate this function, it may be a good idea to mention this in your house's Terms and Conditions, in order to be fully transparent with your bidders.
